ADRIC 2021 Culture, Conflict & Confluence Webinar Series
Presented by ADR Institute of Canada
September 29 - December 2, 2021

Dispute resolution professionals generally recognize the importance of specialized training to understand and become more sensitive to cultural differences during mediation, arbitration and other dispute resolution processes. Without this understanding and respect, the process and outcome can be negatively impacted and can even lead to further conflict, tension or even trauma.

ADR Institute of Canada is presenting a series of webinars that will explore how we may differ; the benefits of cultural differences, whether faith, race, gender, ability, or even opinion; and how we can learn from each other and improve our practices.

Sessions are organized in 3 categories:
•         Commercial Series – Domestic and International Arbitration and Mediation
•         Diversity & Inclusion Series – Sessions of interest to everyone, practicing Dispute Resolution Professionals and the Public
•         Specialties Series – Sessions on Workplace, Family, Community, etc.

Professional Development Accreditation:
•    ADRIC Continuing Education & Engagement (CEE) points: 2 points/hour for each webinar
•    Accreditation pending from all Law Societies across Canada

Simultaneous interpretation (English to French) is available if there is demand.

Registration is by session at an exceptionally economical rate:
Members: $35;  Non-members: $50; applicable taxes extra
